RinnApps - Mobile apps for educators and parents
RinnApps specializes in special education and family friendly apps for use by educators, parents, and children of all ages. Co-creators Jason Rinn and Eric Sailers bring together their backgrounds in software development and speech-language pathology to develop apps designed to assist children with special needs. RinnApps is passionate about creating apps that children with special needs will find enjoyable and exciting, as well as helpful.
RinnApps has developed four Apple iOS apps. Artikpix and Phonopix are apps created to help children with speech difficulties. They are fun, easy to use products for educators, parents, and children, and offer a variety of features. Percentally is an app designed to be a useful tool for special educators to easily take and save data when working with students. Feed the baby is a free app that helps busy parents keep track of scheduled feedings.
ArtikPix features
ArtikPix has a free version that offers a “th” deck with In App Purchases for more decks. ArtikPix – Full has 21 decks for the following sounds: th, f, v, ch, sh, k, g, s, z, l, r, s-blends, r-blends, l-blends, p, b, m, n, t, d, j.
PhonoPix features
PhonoPix has 10 decks: prevocalic voicing, word final devoicing, final consonant deletion, fronting, marked blend reduction, unmarked blend reduction, gliding, stopping, backing, and initial consonant deletion.
